J-RED aka Dabest is a Pittsburgh-based hip-hop artist, whose mission is to create music for anyone who needs an escape from reality, because music helps them handle reality. From childhood, J-RED learned to escape reality himself and evolved mentally. He made time to accept himself, advance artistically, and progress creatively. Finally in 2010, J-RED decided to emotionally expose himself to the public. After meeting Pittsburgh-based producer MadHats in 2012, the dynamic duo began creating together and they forged a path towards the ultimate dream - making music for those who spend their lives feeling ashamed because their way of thinking is not "the norm".
